The Health Lighting Forum of Guangdong Lighting Society and the Launch Conference of the First Catalogue of Selection and Promotion of High-quality and Characteristic Eye-protection Desk Lamp Products were successfully held at the Guzhen Lighting Fair.

In support of the high-quality and innovative development of lighting brands, as well as to raise industry consumption awareness and facilitate inter-enterprise exchanges, the Health Lighting Forum and the Launch Conference of the First Catalogue of Selection and Promotion of High-quality and Characteristic Eye-protection Desk Lamp Products was successfully held at Lihe Lighting Expo Center, Guzhen Town, Zhongshan City on the morning of October 23, 2023, coinciding with the 29th China (Guzhen) International Lighting Fair. The event was hosted by Guzhen Branch of Zhongshan Municipal Administration for Market Regulation and the "One-stop" Collaborative Innovation Service Platform for Quality Infrastructure (Zhongshan Lighting Industry), undertaken by Guangdong Testing Institute of Product Quality Supervision and Guangdong Lighting Society, and co-organized by Zhongshan Institute of Quality and Metrology Supervision and Testing and Lighting Research Market.

　To help luminaire manufacturers understand the requirements of the new national standard GB/T 9473-2022 Performance Requirements for Desk Lamps for Reading and Writing in a timely manner, Engineer Wu Xueqiang from Zhongshan Institute of Quality and Metrology Supervision and Testing interpreted the clauses and testing methods of the standard for the attendees. His professional and clear presentation enabled the conference representatives present to grasp the specific contents of this desk lamp standard. The forum concluded successfully. Through this event, Guangdong Lighting Society facilitated the promotion of healthy lighting. Going forward, the Society will continue to play its role as an industry platform and make greater contributions to the lighting industry of our province.
